We are looking to recruit ABA tutors to join us and to share our ambition to make the ordinary possible for children and young people with autism – to enable them to learn, thrive and achieve.

Assistant Head Teacher (Primary and Secondary)

The Rise School opened in September 2014 with 19 pupils in primary and reception, and 15 pupils in secondary. The Rise School is a ground breaking, specialist school, catering specifically for pupils with autism. All pupils will access the national curriculum at broadly age-appropriate levels, while still receiving the specialist support they need.

Currently an Assistant Head Teacher or a member of a school’s leadership team, you will have experience of working with children with autism. You will be a highly motivated and innovative leader with a demonstrable knowledge of good practice in curriculum planning, development, assessment and evaluation of pupil progress, including preparing pupils for externally accredited awards and qualifications. You will be experienced in the use of school data management systems.

We are co-located with a secondary school, Feltham Community College; this gives our pupils access to a mainstream education which they might not otherwise take benefit from.

We are looking committed teachers to achieve high standards with all our children and to work closely with colleagues in a multi-disciplinary team (including teachers, behavioural specialists and speech and language therapists) in both English and any other curriculum specialism.
