Head of Major Giving

Based in Muswell Hill, North London

We're looking for an experienced Head of Major Giving who has a track record of securing large donations from high level supporters and working with high level volunteers. You will have extensive knowledge of the major donor landscape. We are looking for someone who can successfully develop and implement the Ambitious about Autism major donor strategy, creating and delivering an annual programme of approaches and activities to engage donors and prospects. Ability to build strong relationships with donors, network and passion are vital. You will develop creative proposals and approaches to maximise donor engagement.

Chair of the Board of Trustees

2 days per month

Founded 16 years ago, our vision is simple; to make the ordinary possible for children and young people with autism. Our new three-year strategy will see us developing more services, focusing on raising awareness and understanding of autism, and continuing successfully to influence policy. We’re an ambitious and innovative organisation at a particularly exciting stage of growth and diversification.

Our current Chair will step down at the end of this year after two very successful terms, leading a strong and highly effective Board and working with a committed, high-performing executive team. We’re now looking for an exceptional individual to lead our Board of Trustees and help take us through the next crucial phase of development.

Fundraising Events Intern

Based in Muswell Hill, North London

The Events and Community team project manage a broad portfolio of events from special, gala fundraising evenings to mass participation and bespoke sporting and community-led events. Over the past two years, our successful team has gone from strength to strength reaching more supporters and raising more funds for the charity. We now require the support of a pro-active individual with a desire to develop their event planning talents to contribute to the overall goals of the team.

This role is a varied one with the opportunity to gain a broad range of transferrable skills in every area of event planning and fundraising. This role is perfect for someone keen to put the theory into practice within a dynamic and exciting environment!
