TreeHouse School in North London provides a vibrant education for children and young people from 4–19 with a diagnosis of autism. Judged ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted (October 2012), we offer each pupil a personalised curriculum which is taught by a multi professional team and is underpinned by the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).

We are looking to recruit ABA tutors to join us and to share our ambition to make the ordinary possible for children and young people with autism – to enable them to learn, thrive and achieve.

Ideally, candidates would be available to join us from Monday 3 November 2014.

You will need:

  • Degree level education or a recognised qualification in childcare
  • Experience of working with children and/or people with special needs, ideally in an educational environment
  • Experience of teaching children and young people with autism using the principles of ABA
  • Emotional and physical resilience to meet the challenges of working in a demanding (but also rewarding) environment
  • To be able to work effectively in a team environment
