Ambitious about Autism is the national charity for children and young people with autism. We provide services, raise awareness and understanding, and campaign for change. Through TreeHouse School and Ambitious Support we offer specialist education and support.
Our mission is to help children and young people with autism to learn, thrive and achieve.
On Sunday 20 July 2014 over 100 people across the country, including the cast of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, took part in the first #AMileForAutism, raising nearly £3,000.
Ambitious about Autism has been awarded a £528,000 grant over three years from the Department of Health to fund our new myVoice project which will encourage youth participation.
The findings of the interim evaluation of the first year of the Department for Education sponsored Finished at School programme show that positive change has already been made in all five areas of the aims of the programme.
