A few raindrops couldn’t stop the fun at the TreeHouse Summer Fair 2012! It was fantastic so many TreeHouse Parents and their families turned out to help and came along to enjoy all the fun of the fair.
The Engine Shed brought its model railway layouts which were a huge hit with visitors as model trains whizzed around the tracks. Our friends at Virgin Health Club in Crouch End carried out free health checks and invited visitors to take part in a hotly-contested 2012 Gold Challenge.
Children had their faces painted and nails decorated and some also painted their own plant pots and made cards. No fair is complete without a hooking ducks game, panning for gold and guessing where the treasure was hidden.
Along with all the regular Summer Fair stalls we had some great outside stalls selling jewellery, cards and children's clothes. Huge thanks to all the stall holders for their support.
There was plenty to eat and drink too, with tasty coffees being served from a Volkswagen Camper Van, an ice-cream van, delicious Pimms for the grown ups, cream teas and a BBQ selling hot home-prepared food.
We are delighted that we made around £1,500 to go towards the £15,000 TreeHouse climbing wall we want to create for pupils.
Many thanks to all who helped and those who visited the fair, we couldn't have done it without you!
