The Autism Education Trust (AET)

Autism Education Trust logoThe Autism Education Trust (AET) was launched in November 2007 with funding from the Department for Children, Schools and Families. It is dedicated to co-ordinating and improving education support for all children on the autism spectrum in England.

It is estimated that one in 100 children is on the autism spectrum. Their education is the primary concern for most parents and carers. The Autism Education Trust aims to create a platform for voluntary, independent and statutory providers to plan and develop appropriate autism education provision across all education settings, including early years.

The Communication Trust

The Communication Trust logoThe Communication Trust is a group of over 40 voluntary sector organisations, bringing together their expertise to ensure that the speech, language and communication needs of all children and young people are met. We do this by signposting specialist training, support and guidance to people working with children. The Trust was founded by Afasic, BT, Council for Disabled Children and I CAN.

Peach logoPeach is a parent-led group aiming to encourage, support and inform parents of children with autism. Peach is the fastest growing UK charity in the field of ABA and Autism and helps families start Intensive Behavioural Intervention Programmes.  We support parents of children with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder to make informed choices for their children's future by: providing information, approaching local and central government, monitoring standards and quality of services and promoting ABA to a wider forum.
