Our training team is made up of senior members of the TreeHouse School staff, who are all experts in the field of autism education. As active practitioners, they are able to draw on strategies and examples from their own experience.

Hannah ClementsHannah Clements – Senior ABA Consultant

Working in the field of autism education and ABA since 1997, Hannah is experienced in implementing ABA provision for children with autism in mainstream and special schools and at home.

ABA Consultant, Emma Douglas

Dr Emma Douglas – Senior ABA Consultant

Emma has worked in the field of autism education and ABA for the past 14 years. She has experience in using ABA with children, young people and adults with autism in a variety of settings.

Principal ABA Consultant, Katy LeeKaty Lee – Principal ABA Consultant

Katy has worked in the field of autism education and ABA for the past 14 years. She is currently completing PhD research within the field of ABA based educational interventions for children and young people with autism.

Deputy Headteacher, Becky JonesBecky Jones – Deputy Headteacher

Becky has 14 years’ experience working with children, young people and adults with learning difficulties. Her work has covered various settings, including mainstream school, respite care centres, residential homes for children with autism, holiday camps and family homes.

Andy Lusk - Director of Autism Services

Andy Lusk – Director of Autism Services

Andy has worked in children, young people and adult services since 1975, with experience in adult psychiatry, systemic family therapy, family placement, design and management of services for children and young people in need and with disabilities, SEN, and school’s management. Andy also served as an expert witness in the Family Courts for 7 years.

ABA Consultant, Esther ThomasEsther Thomas – Senior ABA Consultant

Working in the field of autism education and ABA for the past 12 years, Esther has gained extensive experience in designing, implementing and supervising ABA provision for children and young adults with autism.

Andrew SwartfigureAndrew Swartfigure – Senior ABA Consultant

Andrew has worked as an ABA practitioner for 12 years. Before joining TreeHouse School in 2009, he worked in consultancy roles at other organisations supporting children and young people with autism. He has also overseen mainstream inclusion for children of varying abilities and ages, and designs and implements training models.

Andrew SwartfigureSarah Eyre – Senior Allied Health Professional

Sarah has worked as a Speech and Language Therapist for 9 years with children and adults with autism and severe learning disabilities within social services, health and education.  During this time she has developed numerous services and worked with families and other professionals to support a wide range of social, augmentative and alternative communication strategies.
