Building on the foundation course, this session focuses on skill development, in particular communication skills. Building cooperation and motivation to learn and the identification and development of other key pivotal skills that are in turn an essential component of the development of further life skills are also included.

Suitable for

• Professionals who support children and young people with high functioning autism or Asperger’s Syndrome
• Parent and carers of young people with high functioning autism or Asperger’s Syndrome

Times

The course runs from 10am until 4pm each day, with coffee and registration at 9.30am.

Course fees

• Professionals: £180 (£140 if booked by 13 December 2012)
• Parents and carers: £80 (£65 if booked by 13 December 2012)
