This two day course provides a thorough introduction to Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and its relevance to autism education. Designed by senior ABA practitioners to give the essential background knowledge required to access our more advanced courses, it is aimed at anyone who supports individuals with autism.

A very interesting day - it met all my learning objectives and was good balance between literature & practical examples.

  • Understand what ABA is and how it is relevant to autism education and intervention
  • Understand how and why ABA can support learning and development for individuals with autism
  • Explore the basic principles of ABA and how these can be used for teaching and learning

This two-day course runs from 10am until 4pm each day, with coffee and registration at 9.30am.

  • Professionals: £280
    • 6 & 7 June 2011: £220 if booked by 25 April 2011
    • 22 & 23 September 2011: £220 if booked by 11 August 2011
    • 7 & 8 February 2012: £220 if booked by 27 January 2012
  • Parents and carers: £80
    • 6 & 7 June 2011: £65 if booked by 25 April 2011
    • 22 & 23 September 2011: £65 if booked by 11 August 2011
    • 7 & 8 February 2012: £65 if booked by 27 January 2012
  • Parents and carers from low income family: £30
