On Thursday 21 June, Ambitious about Autism hosted the UK premiere of the HBO film Temple Grandin. Temple herself attended the screening and took part in a Q & A, chaired by John Bercow MP, Speaker of the House of Commons.
The screening, which took place at the May Fair Hotel in London, had sold out weeks in advance and Temple answered questions from the audience for over an hour before staying to sign books.

The event, attended by parents, professionals and people on the autism spectrum, was a real success, which you can see from some of the praise we received on Twitter:
"I would just like to thank all those at Ambitious about Autism for a great evening. I found the film and the Q&A with Temple very moving and inspirational."
"@AmbitiousAutism Brilliant Brilliant night, Fantastic Q&A, privileged to see and hear #TempleGrandin speak, thanks and More speaker please?!"
"@AmbitiousAutism thank you for hosting #templeg this pm - amazing :)"
