myVoice is a project for 16-25 year olds with autism. It's funded by the Department of Health, and it's all about connecting you with other young adults with autism and helping you to have a say in your local communities.
We know having autism isn't always easy - but we also know that with the right support, it isn't something that should hold you back in life.
How can I get involved?
If you're aged 16-25 and have autism, we want you to join us.
There are loads of ways to get involved and different roles you might be interested in. You don't need to have any experience - you just need to be enthusiastic to take part.
Through our website, we're going to be producing information, including films and blogs. We're now looking for young young people with autism to help us run online chats on subjects like relationships, bullying and how to find work. Volunteers will receive full training and ongoing support and will need to be able to commit to around two days per month.
Online Content Creator
Do you want to work with other people with autism aged 16-25 to create your own film, blogs, factsheets and articles? Then you can join us as an Online Creator.
We're working with four areas in London to help improve the kinds of local services that you use in your every day lives. From health centres, to colleges, libraries and youth clubs. Our Youth Consultants will get fully trained in how to review and feedback on the quality of local services and work with local councils to make improvements.
If you live in Haringey, Islington, Bromley or Barnet, get in touch and we can fill you in on all the details.
