Popular parent podcasters become our new ambassadors

We are delighted to announce that Andy Williams and Gaz Hitchin, founders and hosts of Autism Dadcast, have become our new ambassadors.

The two Shropshire-based dads host the popular podcast through which they share their experiences of raising their autistic children.  

The pair met after signing up to run the Paris Half Marathon on behalf of Ambitious about Autism. After connecting over their struggle to find resources that reflected the reality of being fathers to autistic children, they decided to launch the Autism Dadcast. The first episode was released in May 2025.

Through their podcast, social media platforms and public speaking, they have built a community reaching more than 160,000 people, using their own experiences to challenge stigma, raise awareness and encourage greater understanding and acceptance of autism.  

Their conversations combine openness, humour, and honesty, while shining a light on both the joys and challenges of raising autistic children.

In addition to their advocacy work, the two men are authors of an upcoming book about being fathers to autistic children and will run the Oxford Half Marathon for Ambitious about Autism in October.

Commenting on their appointment as ambassadors, Andy and Gaz said:
