Ambitious about Autism are excited to be working with BP, the multi-national oil and gas company who are offering a 6-month paid internship for a young person with autism aged 18 or above in their Canary Wharf offices.

The Treasury Management system (TMS) Programme will provide a new best in class Treasury system for the Treasury business to provide an exciting digital future. The role of the Data Analyst is to work within the Data Workstream, to ensure the right data is moved from the current system to the new system in a safe manner and compliant manner using automation tools.   • Are you an excellent problem solver? 
  • Do you have experience or an interest in data analysis?

Application process

Once you have emailed your CV, a member of the team will contact you to arrange a telephone call or meeting to discuss your interest and suitability to the role based on the questions above. Please tell us how you prefer to be contacted - either telephone or email.  

If you would then like to progress with your application, we will then send you a copy of our Autism Exchange contract to be completed. Once we receive a copy of our completed contract, we will send you a link to apply via an online portal directly to BP (The Autism Exchange Team can support you to complete this online form).

If you meet the requirements, BP will then contact you to complete an online verbal and numerical reasoning tests (practice tests are available here). 

Suitable candidates will be invited to complete an assessment and attend an interview (assessment and questions will be provided in advance).

You will be supported by the Autism Exchange team throughout the process. This process has been adjusted to be more accessible for young people with autism, however if you require alternate adjustments please let the Autism Exchange team know and we will try to facilitate this. 

Application deadline: Monday 18 November 2019 at 9am
Placement begins: mid February 2020 for 6 months. 

Interviews will take place mid-December 2019 or early January 2020.

The roles will be paid at approximately £19,000 (pro rata for 6 months before tax).
