Some course titles include:
This course provides a comprehensive overview of the autism spectrum; how autism presents itself differently in individuals and how people with autism experience the world around them. This course can be a full day or half day.
Autism in employment
This course can be held as a full or half day and is suitable for any work environment looking to improve their understanding of autism how best to support someone on the spectrum in the workplace.
Know your normal toolkit
This 2 hour session, co-delivered with a young person who developed the toolkit, will give an insight into what autism is like for a young person on the autism spectrum and gives an overview of autism. The training explains how to effectively use the toolkit to support young people with autism access the right support and care when needed.
Positive Behaviour Support
This one-day course provides an introduction to Positive Behaviour Support (PBS). We will investigate this framework that helps to develop an understanding of behaviour that challenges and consider the effective support methods that can be put in place.
