Response to announcement that the Minister for Skills, Nick Boles MP, and the Minister for Disabled People, Justin Tomlinson MP, have accepted all the taskforce’s recommendations

We welcome the announcement today that the recommendations from the apprenticeship task force, which Ambitious about Autism sat on, have been accepted, in particular the recommendation to adjust the minimum requirement for English and Maths qualifications for people with learning disabilities.

100,000 school staff autism confident

Today the Autism Education Trust (AET), chaired by Jolanta Lasota, Chief Executive of Ambitious about Autism, celebrated training over 100,000 school staff at the House of Commons.
