I have searched through google, checked local council offers, called up Family Information Services and Disability Centre. I have also approached many holidays clubs but couldn't find any holiday club for 12 years old with special needs (learning difficulties). I am desprately looking for holiday club in east london or in essex mainly (near by Grays, Basildon, Upministor or Hornchurch). If anyone is aware of any facilities or club, I would appreciate your response here.

I find the human tendency to label and categorize things interesting---the labeling and categorization of other people specifically. Sometimes it's practical---we do it naturally, subconsciously or consciously, all the time; it helps us to make sense of and create order and comfort in our lives. But it can also be lazy and unnecessary, and detrimental to others.
Hi..I haven't logged on in years (literally) so i wanted to say hi to all my old friends and no to all the new ones I haven't met.

I've been out of touch for quite a while as have had 3 years of fighting to get my son into the right educational setting. He has been in now for a year and it's going well. X
