Whether you're struggling to help your child get a decent night's sleep or you're negotiating the tricky subject of toileting; we're here to help. In this section we'll talk you through some of the most common health issues and offer you tried and tested strategies and suggestions from parents who've been there.

Sleep
Research has estimated that between 40% to 80% of children and young adults with autism have trouble sleeping. Here's some ideas on how to make it through the night.

Eating issues
For many families, meal times are a way to bond, relax or stay healthy. However, families of children with autism may find meal times, and eating generally, are a lot trickier.

Toileting
It may not be every parent's favourite subject, but learning to use the loo is one of the big ones for your child.

Anxiety
