Showing your support for our work doesn’t have to be financial. Volunteering for us is an incredible way to show your support for our mission to make the ordinary possible for all children with autism. From time to time we have one-off and ongoing volunteering opportunities.
If you are interested in joining our cheer squads, photography, supporting us in the office, or perhaps at one of our sites, please take a look below at our current opportunities.

Royal Parks Half Marathon 2018
Want to do something fun with your Sunday while helping to change the lives of young people and children with autism?
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team at the Royal Parks Half Marathon on Sunday 14 October 2018 to ensure we are the loudest and brightest cheer squad along the route to help get our amazing #TeamAmbitious over the finish line. Your role on the day will play a vital part in our runners' experience and encourage them to raise much needed funds for our services.
This is a great opportunity to meet new people, get hands on events experience, and have loads of fun! In return for your time and energy, we will make sure you look the part by providing you with an Ambitious about Autism t-shirt to wear on the day and keep, snacks and much needed cheering equipment. You will also receive a certificate and letter of thanks for your efforts.
The role will require you to volunteer between approximately from 9am-3pm.
Your support means so much to us and our runners. By joining our cheer team, you’ll not only help our runners reach the finish line, you’ll also help them raise even more money for our cause. You’ll be helping to transform the lives of children and young people with autism.
If you’d like to join the team, please read our volunteer policy [opens PDF] and complete the volunteer application form. Please send a digital copy of the forms by email to Robyn Taylor, Senior Events Fundaising Officer at Ambitious about Autism, firstname.lastname@example.org.
