About the team
This Quality Engineer role sits within the Public Sector Market Unit. This unit supports digital contract and commercial systems. You will work alongside experienced Capgemini colleagues and client teams who help make sure digital contract services are clear, reliable, and work as intended.
As part of the team you will have access to support, hands-on experience in a real delivery environment, clear structure, mentoring, and reasonable adjustments (as needed).
About the role
The Quality Engineer supports the delivery of high quality Digital Contract areas solutions. This involves helping plan, carry out, and record testing activities. The role supports Agile delivery teams to identify issues early and improve the reliability and usability of digital services.

Skills required for the role
Essential

- ability to follow structured tasks and instructions
- willingness to learn Quality Engineering skills and ways of working.
Desirable (not required)
- interest in digital testing or quality roles
- experience in testing, administration, or digital systems (academic or work based)
- awareness of Agile delivery.

Recruitment process
- Complete the registration form. This will be listed on the opportunity page.
- Complete the Capgemini application form and upload your CV. Details on how to do this will be sent to you by the Employ Autism team.
- Applications will be shared with the line manager to review and shortlist.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview. You will be provided with an interview pack which includes information about who will be interviewing you, the interview questions and details on the interview task you will need to complete.
- Successful candidates will be required to complete Baseline Security Clearance as part of the onboarding. This includes and identify check, right to work check, employment history check, criminal record check and proof of where you have lived over the past 3 years. The Employ Autism team will be available to assist you with completing these checks. Support during the application process
