Types of training available
We provide flexible training options designed to meet different needs:
- Group training – book a course or bespoke session for your whole setting
- Individual training – book onto a scheduled course and develop your specific skills
- Autism Education Trust (AET) training
All of our autism training is accessible and interactive and can be delivered in person or online. All our courses are either CPD Standards Office accredited, or in the process of being accredited, allowing you to use our completion certificates as formal evidence.

Understanding autism for careers and employability professionals
We offer specialist training for careers professionals and those working in post-16 settings to support autistic young people as they move into the next stage of their education.
Careers information, advice, and guidance play a critical role in helping autistic people determine their next steps - whether that be further study, employment or an apprenticeship.
The ‘understanding autism for careers and employability professionals’ course has been developed in partnership with a range of qualified professionals as well as autistic young people and will support those who are offering careers advice or guidance in a range of settings.

Careers Education Framework in your education setting
This course is for careers leaders in both mainstream and specialist education settings.
This is a CPD Standards accredited four-hour training that aims to help you to deepen your understanding of inclusive careers education and its importance in the lives of autistic young people, with a focus on using our Careers Education Framework in your setting. Upon attending the course, you will also be given access to our annual Careers Education Framework network event, where you can connect with other careers professionals, discuss your practice and progress, and ask questions.

Ambitious about Autism have the licence to deliver AET courses within the London Boroughs of Kingston and Hounslow only.
