The Rise School

The Rise School

The Rise School is a thriving special school based in Feltham, West London educating autistic pupils aged 4-18.

Set up in 2014 by the Ambitious about Autism Schools Trust, the school has continued to grow and now has a vibrant learning community of nearly 100 pupils.

Building on this successful model, The Rise School opened a brand new sixth form provision in September 2019. The Rise Sixth Form tackle the severe shortage of post-16 schools for pupils with special educational needs in the UK.

Co-located model

The Rise School is located on the same campus as the Springwest Academy, a mainstream secondary school. The Rise Sixth Form is based at nearby West Thames College. This enables our pupils to access learning and social opportunities alongside their mainstream peers, whilst receiving the specialist support they need.

Curriculum

The Rise School's curriculum allows learners to develop the academic and social skills necessary for success. Pupils can achieve a range of academic and vocational qualifications that best suit their learner profiles and needs. The school also has a social curriculum focused on positive mental and emotional health.
